Moanna

She is a 4 year old cream female Standard Poodle.  Moanna is spayed, current on her shots and microchipped.  She gets along well with other dogs and would love to sleep in your bed.  She is sweet and loving.  Moanna finds herself in rescue because her family has fallen on hard financial times.  Moanna is housebroken and crate-trained.  Her body does not produce the hormone cortisol, so she needs a shot of Percortin every 28-30 days.  She also takes a small dose of prednisone daily.  Now that she has been diagnosed this condition becomes a management issue.  The extra costs monthly are roughly 75-100.  She will live a normal life.  Her condition is known as Addison’s disease.
